LONGMONT —
Jack Dillon, owner of Jack’s One Stop, and Zach Evans, owner of Zach’s
Transmission and 4x4, each recently doubled the square footage of their
businesses. How have these two automotive shops been able to grow at
a time when many businesses are simply trying to survive? The owners
share some common traits, and they’re the types of strategies any
business can learn.
Both started small. Dillon launched his business out of the back of his
pickup, and Evans went from repairing transmissions in a shop in his
house to opening his own shop.
