Welcome to the new ATRA experience! We are upgrading our database and websites to provide a more seamless, secure, and feature-rich environment for our members. Below are answers to common questions about the transition.


Account Migration & Login

Why is my ATRA account changing?

We are continuously working to improve the member experience. Upgrading to the ATRA Member Portal provides a centralized login and enhanced security features, including multi-factor authentication. This means you can use a single username and password across all ATRA web experiences, including your Member Compass.

How do I log in to my new account for the first time?

The next time you log in to the ATRA website www.ATRA.com, you will be prompted to activate your ATRA Member Account through a quick verification process:

  1. Enter your email address on the login page.
  2. Set a new password for your account.

I already set up an ATRA Member Portal during the early rollout. Do I need to do this again?

No. If you have already created your ATRA Member Account, simply use your existing email address to sign in.

Can I add extra security to my account?

Yes. Once you are logged in, you can easily set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) in your account settings for an added layer of protection.


New Features & The Technical Community

What is the new Technical Community?

The Technical Community is a brand-new, interactive dashboard designed to connect you with fellow rebuilders and our massive knowledge base. From this centralized hub, you can instantly browse nearly 10,000 library resources, view recent community announcements, and jump into active discussion threads.

Who is "Techie"?

Techie is our new AI chat assistant built directly into the Technical Community! Techie is designed to help you search the community and library conversationally. Simply type your technical questions into the chat box just like you are talking to a colleague, and Techie will help you find the answers. Techie is constantly learning and improving based on community interactions.

Will I lose any of my current member benefits during this update?

Absolutely not. Your ATRA Member Account will continue to unlock all the core benefits and resources you rely on to run your business, including:

  • Access to the technical hotline and comprehensive database.
  • Group discussion forums and online ShopFinder referrals.
  • Discounts on the Powertrain Expo, IBO events, and regional seminars.
  • Subscriptions to GEARS Magazine and the ATRA Weekly E-Newsletter.
  • Virtual training solutions/FUEL.inc and technical/management certification programs.

Privacy & Account Options

Do I have to migrate to the new ATRA Member Portal?

YES. We highly recommend migrating to take advantage of the new portal and security features.

How is my personal data being handled during this transition?

This change does not alter how ATRA collects, uses, or shares your personal data. Your information is securely migrated and will continue to be handled in strict accordance with the ATRA Privacy Policy.
